Flagstaff mater session are my favorite to document. We had the sweetest evening in oak creek. That tall golden grass is a dream. The little girls played around and I could not get enough of that perfect baby bump.

With summer fast approaching and the temperatures rising it was such a fun evening exploring and documenting this sweet family in the beautiful apple orchard.
The little girls absolutely loved the blooming apple trees and we got some beautiful moments that will be forever cherished by this family.
I absolutely loved all the spring summer outfits this mama pick out, lots of textures and soft beautiful colors that compliment one another.
this evening was full of giggles and sweet glances. Nothing I love more than documenting family memories.

Sweet couples in the spring sunshine are such a joy to document. We had the absolute best time exploring this little spring forest. What I loved about this session was that the couple came ready to fully enjoy the experience. The outfits that got selected were impeccable. It makes a difference if you are comfortable in what you choose to wear to a session. I always recommend neutral, colors that are soft work best for most people. A little pattern that’s subtle can always complement the sessions.

Sometimes when the Flagstaff summer rains surround you chasing a spot of sunshine is all you can do. Documenting sweet family moments that are just that. I want you to remember how it feels to hold the little chubby hands, how they search for yours. The little head snuggles when they need some extra comfort.
Flagstaff aspen groves are the perfect spots to explore during our sessions together. This sweet family was so fun to document, we walked, explored and hid from rainstorms.
When we planed this maternity session, the vision was for a light and airy feel. The aspens and wildflowers of flagstaff provided the perfect backdrop for this expecting mama to be. The evening was warm and the gentle breeze provided the perfect accompaniment to this perfect night.
Pregnancy is such a beautiful milestone in the motherhood journey. When choosing a location or the feeling you would like to document during your session it’s important to to consider what legacy you would like to document.

A sweet family photoshoot is the aspens. Documenting genuine family moments is such a privilege. Every time I get to have a family trust me to create memories for them it’s such a joy. We waited out a thunderstorm and got rewarded with the perfect sunset. The wildflowers in flagstaff are blooming non stop and the weather is just so good. I love how this family let the little ones enjoy the evening and we created so magic.

When the flowers start to blanket everything in sight it feel like the long cold winter will never return. The early summer flowers start to bloom in June and depending in the weather will last about a month. The wild irises are some of my favorite. The soft, butterfly like petals glimmering in the setting sun provided the most beautiful back drop for this sweet family. We wonder around the aspen groves enjoying the soft breeze and exploring the beautiful alpine meadows. How sweet is this mama and her little one, I loved watching them interacting with one another. If you are thinking of a photo shoot in the early summer I would say don’t miss this bloom.

We had the absolute best time splashing around. Toddlers and baby bumps are some of my favorite things to document. Motherhood is such a beautiful part of our life. Sometimes just letting go of expectations and enjoying the moments creates the most sweet memories. Pregnancy photoshoot are so special, it’s a moment in time that can never be repeated, not two ever the same.
I love how this sweet family enjoyed each other’s company. Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait to photograph all the pregnant mamas during this special time.

Something about the air in flagstaff that just smells sweet as soon as the spring winds begin to blow. You can’t help but notice life staring to come back to the mountains. The aspens start to shimmer and little wild flowers start marking an appearance. I love documenting mother’s to be in the spring time. With mothers day around the corner it makes for such a sweet memory. Toddlers and growing belly’s is just my favourite. If you are pregnant or gave a little one saving some special time just for you and them is so important.
I’m in love with this sweet session in the spring lilac’s, the fragrance from the blossoms was incredible and the colours are just amazing. Can you picture your self with you little one dancing in the settings sunshine next to the beautiful spot in Flagstaff. Dreams do come true.

As much as I love flagstaff in the summer, with it’s alpine meadows full of wildflowers, full lush aspens groves and long days full of sunshine. I can’t help but dream of the tall, dreamy golden grass that creates the most magical backdrop for any session. I have to share so many from this maternity sessions we had late in October. The little darling that loved on her mommy and daddy. The beautiful bump that holds a new little one on the way. Documenting motherhood and all it’s stage’s is such a joy. I also can’t help but love on this perfectly styled family. The colors and textures go so perfect with the natural setting, complimenting them and not distracting. Some of the images of the mother and her little ones are so sweet I can’t help but share so many.

We stumbled apron this little patch of daisies. The sun was in the perfect spot and we just played around. Documenting sweet moments between mother and children is such a special privilege. The sweet moment your little ones will not remember get to be recorded for them to cherish for years to come. The little smile, the tiny hand that hold you tightly all night long. Flagstaff summers are full of wildflowers and sunshine. It’s just such a magical time.

This year the apple trees took some time to bloom and kept me guessing. The day we picked was sunny and windy, but by the afternoon the clouds started rolling in. Apple blossoms will stay on the tree from 3 to 7 days. But with this wild flagstaff spring wind I was afraid they would not last long. So we took a risk and decided to go for it. It was pouring rain as we pulled in to the parking lot. The radar kept promising clear sky by 4pm but it was looking dark. We decided to wait just a little longer and I’m so glad we did. The rain got swept away and we were able to go and documented some sweet moments in the most beautiful full Apple blossoms.
